Ellen DeGeneres and Heidi Klum recreate Sia video for Halloween

Ellen DeGeneres and Heidi Klum have celebrated Halloween by recreating Sia’s Chandelier video.

For the Halloween episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs on Monday (31Oct16), the TV host dressed as Sia, complete with the singer’s trademark black and white wig.

"Happy Halloween, everybody! As you can tell, I'm Sia, and the problem is I can't really see ya,” Ellen joked as she took to the stage, dressed in a puffy black dress with matching black tights.

"I made this costume myself. I found some old loofahs backstage. It was not that hard to make.”

The 58-year-old has previously dressed up as Nicki Minaj and Sofia Vergara for the spooky celebration, but this year she chose to emulate a star from her wife Portia de Rossi’s native country.

"Sia and I have a whole lot in common. She's Australian, and I married an Australian, and we both like to swing from a chandelier - which is why I'm no longer welcome at Bed Bath & Beyond."

Noting that a Chandelier recreation wouldn’t be complete without frequent Sia collaborator Maddie Ziegler, Ellen then welcomes Heidi, who's dressed in a nude leotard and tights, to the stage.

"Not too many people could pull that off, but you look fantastic. You really do," the host said.

Once she confirmed Heidi had "stretched," it was time to take the stage.

"It seems weird that we would be like this and we wouldn't perform, so we should probably perform right now," she said. "We rehearsed for over seven minutes, so this should be good.”

Ellen proceeds to lip sync the words of the popular 2014 song, while Heidi twirls around the stage, mimicking Maddie’s dance moves from the video, which has been viewed more than 1.4 billion times on YouTube.

But the performance took its toll on the German supermodel.

"Go sit in an ice bath," Ellen told her. "She's in pain, and I can't see."

Kelly Clarkson has also tried her hand at a Sia impersonation, recently performing an a capella rendition of the hit while wearing a blunt, blonde wig covering her eyes.
