Brad Pitt has a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving after FBI officials closed their investigation into a private jet altercation between the actor and his teenage son Maddox.
Agency bosses have released a statement revealing they will no longer be looking into the incident, which took place just four days before Pitt's now-estranged wife Angelina Jolie filed for divorce.
The statement reads: "The FBI has conducted a review of the circumstances and will not pursue further investigation. No charges have been filed in this matter."
Last month (Oct16) Brad was also cleared of child abuse allegations following an investigation by officials at the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services.
Social workers interviewed the movie star, Jolie, their six kids, eye witnesses and staff members for weeks to get to the bottom of the alleged fracas between Pitt and his son.
Brad has yet to comment on either investigation, but Angelina released a statement via her representative, admitting she was relieved the DCFS case was closed.
"Angelina said from the beginning that she felt she had to take action for the health of the family and is relieved that after their 8-week involvement, the DCFS is now satisfied the safeguards are put in place that will allow the children to heal," her rep told TMZ.
The couple is still at war over custody of the kids - Angelina wants sole physical custody, while Brad is asking the divorce judge for joint custody. Angelina will retain custody of the pair's children for now, but Brad will be allowed "therapeutic" visits.
