Jennifer Lawrence: 'I almost killed a sound guy with my butt!'

Jennifer Lawrence confessed to almost killing a sound guy with her bottom on the set of The Hunger Games.

The 26-year-old shared the unusual story while on The Graham Norton Show on Friday (02Dec16), alongside her Passengers co-star Chris Pratt and British chef Jamie Oliver.

Encouraged to tell the story by host Graham, Jennifer revealed the near-fatal incident occurred while filming The Hunger Games on the coast in Hawaii.

"We were filming in Hawaii, and there were sacred rocks. You're not supposed to sit on them," she explained. "I however, was in a wetsuit... Oh, my God they were so good for butt itching."

"One rock... ended up coming loose," she laughed. "It was a giant boulder, it rolled down this mountain, and almost killed our sound guy!"

"It was a huge dramatic deal," the famously clumsy actress added. "And all the Hawaiians, were like, 'Oh my God, it's the curse!' And I felt like saying, 'I'm the curse! I wedged it loose with my a**!'"

While on the show promoting their new sci-fi drama Passengers, Jennifer's co-star Chris Pratt also had a confession to make - he knows a few impressive magic tricks.

Host Graham brought out a deck of cards for the Jurassic World star, while telling the audience about the actor's history with magic. "You are a magician?" Graham asked.

"Like I know real magic? Yes," Chris said confidently, however he went on to admit it had been a while since he performed a trick, before choosing to debut his magic on.

"You have to be very careful practising in the dark arts," he joked. "This is a whole new deck, I haven't seen this deck, you haven't shown me this deck... Captivated yet?"

"This is awesome, I'm doing a card trick for, I love my life," he said, introducing a trick he called "Burn 'Em," which works "50 per cent of the time."

After a long but exciting performance, Chris presented the correct card, impressing even his sceptical co-star Jennifer.

Passengers is released on 21 December (16).
