Kim Kardashian has been seeing a therapist to help her cope with the anxiety she suffers while driving.
The reality TV star admitted to her mother Kris and good pal Jonathan Cheban during an episode of TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians that she was suffering from anxiety and she is frustrated by it because she is "not this person.”
She explained she mostly experiences it when she is driving because she is constantly worrying about the "freak" accidents that could happen.
“My mind does go crazy,” Kim told her mother before adding to the camera, “I really pride myself in fully having my sh*t together all the time."
In the episode, filmed before she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, France in October (16), Kim met with therapist Michelle Massi with her half-sister Kendall Jenner, who is also suffering from anxiety and has panic attacks and sleep paralysis.
Kim also explained that she doesn't want to live in fear because she doesn't want to let down her late father Robert Kardashian.
"The last thing my dad said to me was, 'I know you'll be okay. You are strong.' So I would never want to not live up to that," she added.
Kim was then seen going on a drive with the therapist, who taught her how to cope with her fears, and she later called her and explained she's no longer as panicked when driving.
Kendall didn't have as much luck conquering her anxiety, which can leave her unable to move when she wakes up in the night, and stopped the therapy session after Massi asks her to mimic her panic attack symptoms.
"The therapist is trying to get me to make a panic attack happen, but every time I think about my anxiety it makes it worse. I wanna get this under control, but not like this," she said.
Kim organised a meditation with Kendall and the 21-year-old said it helped her relax.
Meanwhile, a promo from an upcoming episode of the show shows Kim telling her family she is considering surrogacy in earnest. While her husband Kanye West is keen on a third child, Kim is unsure if she'll be able to conceive again due to complications with her son Saint, who was born in December (15).
