Singer Teyana Taylor became a nervous wreck ahead of her runway debut at Kanye West's recent fashion show after spotting her idol Anna Wintour in the audience.
The rapper-turned-designer took over part of New York's Roosevelt Island in early September (16) to stage his latest Adidas clothing collection on the eve of the official launch for New York Fashion Week, and guests included his wife Kim Kardashian, and hip-hop stars Pusha T and 2 Chainz.
However, it was the presence of Vogue U.S. editor-in-chief Wintour which had Teyana trembling with fear as she tried to keep her cool and strut her stuff in a black sports bra, matching spandex bike shorts, and a loose-fitting cardigan.
"I was nervous as hell," Teyana tells Paper magazine of her first catwalk appearance for the Yeezy Season 4 show.
"I saw the posture, I saw the bangs, I saw the bob and I saw the shades, and I said, 'Anna's here!' That's when my nervousness really turned up," she recalls. "I love Anna. I'm obsessed with her. So, to know she was there, that she knows who I am (really made me nervous)..."
Teyana, who shows off her killer physique dancing in Kanye's Fade video, wasn't the only famous face among the Yeezy models - Lionel Richie's daughter Sofia was also recruited for the show.
Teyana's big modelling gig took place less than nine months after she gave birth to her first child, daughter Iman Tayla Shumpert, Jr., with her then-fiance, basketball star Iman Shumpert.
The couple has since secretly tied the knot, with the 25-year-old mum confirming the news during an appearance on America's The Wendy Williams Show late last month (Sep16).
