Comedian Tracy Morgan has forgiven the truck driver who nearly killed him.
The 47-year-old star was left seriously injured in June, 2014 after a Walmart truck crashed into the comedian's vehicle in New Jersey, killing comedy writer James 'Jimmy Mack' McNair.
Tracy suffered severe brain trauma and a broken leg, among many other injuries, and had to learn how to walk again during his months-long rehabilitation.
But the former 30 Rock comedian has now put the traumatic incident behind him, insisting during an appearance on late night chat show Conan on Thursday (03Nov16) that he doesn't hold a grudge against the driver of the truck.
"I forgave him," Tracy insisted. "I'm not even mad at him no more."
However, Tracy added that his neighbors might not be as forgiving, joking: "But you know who is mad at him? All my white neighbors. 'If you wouldn't have hit his a*s, he wouldn’t be living next door to me!'''
Tracy and Walmart executives reached a financial settlement over the collision back in 2015. While the exact amount the comedian received is unknown, it was enough for him to splash out on a new house and a Lamborghini.
Revealing he drives the swanky vehicle at 30 miles an hour "so everybody in the neighborhood" can see him, Tracy added: "I don't do speed. Speed is for kids."
Tracy previously admitted that while he has little memory of the crash, he does remember meeting his late father while comatose in a New Jersey hospital.
"When you're in a coma for eight to 10 days you're basically knocking on the door (of heaven)," he said in a taped interview for Oprah Winfrey's Master Class TV special. "I don't know if I was in the coma, or in and out of the coma, but I remember I was just talking to my dad.
"He had this green thing on and I just remember him saying, 'I'm not ready for you son'. And I started crying so hard. I was crying harder than probably I cried at the funeral. And I just kept saying, 'Dad!' because he was my best friend."
