Will Smith is battling lion problems after spotting a big cat prowling around his yard.
The movie star caught the creature on surveillance video and showed the footage during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday (08Dec16), telling the host, "You see one of those jokers in Kenya."
The nervous Independence Day actor added, "That's 25 yards from my bed!"
Smith revealed he put his family on lockdown and called in rangers for help and advice.
"The ranger comes out, he looks at the tape and he says, 'Oh yeah, you got a lion!'," Smith explained, insisting the creature in his backyard was bigger than a mountain lion, common to the countryside outside Los Angeles, where he and wife Jada Pinkett Smith live.
The worried dad asked the experts what he could do to keep the big cat away from his property and was told to buy lion urine because there were few other alternatives due to the fact he lives in "a conservation area".
Smith added, "That's what they do... Lion urine is, like, $38.99 a gallon... I can see why it would be expensive, because someone has to get it! They do a circle of the lion urine around your house and apparently that keeps other lions away."
But the star isn't convinced his lion problem has gone away, joking, "I thought he (ranger) should have at least been able to relocate it to Denzel's (Washington) house!"
Will is now worried about letting his kids play outside for fear they'll be attacked by his unwelcome guest.
